Layered with warm spices, fresh aromatics, and a subtle chilli kick, this dish delivers a balanced heat and deep savoury flavour in every bite.
Slow-cooked to allow the flavours to fully develop, these gourmet tenders are incredibly versatile. Enjoy them hot off the braai, pan-seared until lightly charred, loaded into tacos or wraps, spooned over nachos, or served as the hero protein in burrito bowls, rice bowls, or salads.
Chilled, not frozen, and ready to heat, this is premium plant-based comfort food designed for creative cooking and everyday convenience — without compromising on flavour.
Flame-grilled plant protein (water, wheat gluten [(20%), pea protein (10%), chickpea flour(1%)], water, canola oil, chillies (crushed), peppers, onion, garlic (crushed), lemon juice, maize starch, vinegar, yeast extract, salt, sugar (trickle), paprika (powder), natural flavour, origanum (dry), black pepper (fine).

This product is fully cooked. Heat thoroughly before serving.
Remove product from the pouch.
Place contents into a saucepan.
Heat gently over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 6–8 minutes or until piping hot.
For a deeper flavour and caramelised finish:
Continue cooking for a further 2–3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly and the tenders to develop a lightly charred, golden-brown surface. Stir gently to avoid sticking.
Do not allow to boil vigorously.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium–high heat.
Add product directly from the pouch.
Spread evenly and cook for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through with visible caramelisation and char on the tenders.
Preheat air fryer to 180 °C.
Remove product from the pouch and place into the basket or a heat-safe tray.
Heat for 6–8 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through.
For extra colour, increase temperature to 200 °C for the final 1–2 minutes.
Preheat braai or grill to medium–high heat.
Place tenders in a grill basket or foil tray.
Grill for 5–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through and lightly charred.
Remove product from the pouch.
Place contents into a microwave-safe bowl.
Cover loosely.
Heat on high (800–900 W) for 3–4 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Allow to stand for 1 minute, then stir and check temperature before serving.
Ensure product is heated thoroughly throughout before consumption.
This unit weighs 250g and is intended to serve 3 portions.
